Freshwater Low-Pressure Rinse
Tighten reel drag knob fully before rinsing to prevent water intrusion into carbon drag washers. Spray lightly with fresh tap water (never use high-pressure power washers). Wipe down Fuji guide frames and cork handle with a microfiber cloth.
ANNUAL SERVICE
Bearing Lubrication & Drag Grease
Apply 1 drop of synthetic reel oil to the line roller dual bearings and main shaft every 5 outings. Apply Cal's Universal Drag Grease to carbon drag washers once per season for smooth drag payout under high load.
